So far I have gotten two new song request VIA email. Don't be afraid to request your song, what ever your taste is. Just DON'T request Jazz, I hate if, for those of you who don't know and just in case I haven't said it enough. I will not add any jazz songs. Who even listens to jazz these days, besides Bill Cosby, and I don't think he is thinking about jazz right now.
Have you seen him lately? He is on the news, trying to send a message to all young black men, to straighten up and fly right. I wonder though, is he too late? Has the generation of today gone to the trash? Sometimes when I watch the news late at night I think that Bill is fighting an uphill battle.
I have said it before and I will say it again. Parents need to be the light at the end of the dark tunnel of life for today's children. We have got to show our youth that "Hollywood", and the "Glamorous life" is only a fictional story that does not have a happy ending for many of its main characters.
When did simple entertainment become the bar to which we hold our own standards? I love music, but I know that the life of a musician is not all is made out to be.
