Hernia surgery and Cancer news

I had surgery last week. Turns out that after giving birth to my youngest child (3 years ago) I gave my self an umbilical hernia. It wasn't a large hernia but it required open surgery and boy oh boy was and is the recovery painful! Having any type of abdominal surgery is tough. Your abdomen is your core, its what you use everyday and don't realize how much you use it, until you cant use it any longer.
It's definitely something to consider when you are planning for your surgery.  Make sure you explore all of the surgery options available. I did not. As your doctor what choices you have. I did not ask my doctor, I wish I would've!

And now for the Cancer news. Two of my aunts have been diagnosed with cancer. The aunt who I am closest to was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer and it's sounding like she is going to have a long and very rough road ahead of her. She's going to need lots of medical attention and probably even medical supplies. Needless to say, I got online right away and started looking at all of or at home medical care options. I found a web site that offers an ultra sound kit that she is wanting to purchase called  http://www.lgmedsupply.com/. They've got complete ultra sound kits with gel so you don't have to do multiple purchases.

For those of you looking for muscle stimulator machines, lgmedsupply.com carries a variety of those as well. As of right now, we aren't sure how many different machines my aunt will need but we know where to look. I hope you don't have to deal with this, but if you do, please check out the website.
