VBS! Good Luck Charlie and NO Food truck weekend Stress

Well, we have another weekend that will be food truck free. As a matter of fact, now that it's summer time, the event list for us has dwindled down to 1event a month for the rest of the season.  But wait, before you start to feel bad for me...DON'T...remember, I live in Texas and although spending time in my food truck is always a fun time, its not really that much fun when its 100 degrees out side, because even with our the a.c on in the trailer, it only gets down to about 85 or 90 inside.  Not to mention, NO ONE wants to be walking around at a festival in 100 degree weather..no, not even Texans. No people at hot out door events = no fun inside our hot trailer which then = a pretty annoyed momma.

Anyway, We are so excited. We are up to 80 likes on our facebook page. Did I mention, we would love to get to 100.  As a true sports fan would say, to "Break a bill" would be  an awesome score.  So please find us and LIKE us. You don't have to be in or from Texas to LIKE us. Maybe you just like looking at pictures of food...yummy food...food that looks so good you would almost slap your momma.... Yes, I said ALMOST.  I may be a little mouthy on this blog, but I would never, ever, under any circumstances condone slapping your momma. Not even if she is missing a few screws.

So, this week we have been having a great time at Vacation Bible school at our church. The kids have not been at each others throats as much and they are actually helping around the house. Not sure what has made them become so helpful but what ever it is, be it a renewed energy from all of the singing and dancing or if the power of God has actually taken a hold of them. What ever the reason...I will not question it, I'll just sit back and enjoy the extra help......since I'm not sure how long this will actually last.

By the way, if you have kids, and they are driving you nuts, and you have run out of things to do, and if you can recite all the words to the reruns of Good Luck Charlie, then I suggest you get them enrolled into the local Vacation Bible school. You don't even have to worry about not being a certain religion. Most of the time, if you know that the church believes in Jesus Christ and you are Christian, then you are probably good to go. Tuition is usually free, some church's may have a small fee, to help pay for the snacks and crafts, but I think that's a small price to pay for a week with a house hold of peace and quiet. You should look into them, I bet you will love me once you do.
